La Florida is a small village located at the mountains in the southern pacific zone of Costa Rica, with a small population of locals and expats living full time, or part of the year.

This property can be accessed by 3 different roads depending from where you are coming. All roads are through well maintained gravel roads going over the mountains with panoramic views. If you take a flight from San Jose to Quepos it is two hour drive to the house or flying from San Jose to Perez Zeledón and drive 1,5 hour to the house. In any of these two city’s you will have access to all the big grocery stores before get to the house. Smaller local markets and area farmers are close by as well as the Tinamastes Farmers Market.

From the house you will have many activities to do on a short drive including the two famous national parks, Manuel Antonio with the beautiful white sand beach and the well known Marino Ballena National Park with the spectacular sand bar called the Whale’s Tail. You also can go explore the 3 biggest waterfalls in this area – Nauyaca, the biggest, and the other popular tourist attractions, the Diamanté Waterfall, one of the tallest in country, and the San Luis Waterfall that you can see from the house.

The house is built on a 2.4 acre property surrounded by gardens full of exotic flowers and many fruits trees that are already producing. (over 20 different varieties)

The 3 bedroom, 2 bath room home was build in 2022 of solid concrete block and hard local wood, with large covered parking in from of the house. The house was well designed to make sure every room is spacious and enjoys a panoramic view of the mountains and the waterfall. The very spacious open concept kitchen and living room are a great space to gather and create good memories with friends and family – beautifully outfitted with marble and tile countertops and custom cabinets with stainless steel appliances.
The house comes with all the furniture included, and a central vacuum system to help make life easier for everyone.

The large out door terrace is most likely going to be a favorite place to enjoy your morning coffee looking and the wild life activity that the property attracts for you every day.

This is a great place to live in the south zone of Costa Rica in the cloud forest and close to the beach. Playa Dominical and Playa hermosa are closer than to think!
